Led by an engineer who has run the plant
Cristian Boar founded Aegis after more than 20 years in cement, aggregates, and heavy manufacturing, from project engineer to plant manager. Aegis is based in Indiana and works with plants across the Midwest.

Cristian spent 17 years with Holcim, the Swiss building materials group and one of the world's largest cement producers. At Alesd, one of the top five plants in Holcim's global network, he built the preventive maintenance organization and went on to run mechanical maintenance.
In 2015 he moved to the United States, rising from maintenance superintendent to maintenance manager, reliability manager, corporate reliability engineer, and plant manager. He founded Aegis in 2026 to put that experience to work for other plants.
